You may read some claims about potential "dangers" associated with Stevia but Stevia has been used for over 10 years in Japan without a single adverse complaint, unlike our artificial sweetnersthat are carcinogenic and have caused thousands of people multiple problems. Dozens of studies and public use for centuries have proven the safety of Stevia. Very little is done to Stevia for processing, mainly drying and grinding the leaves. Some companies add inulin a healthy fiber, sometimes it is processed into a liquid and some add minor natural filler so that it can be measured out like sugar.
